Larry L. Fee, 56, of Kalkaska, Mich., passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007, in Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Mich.
He was born July 30, 1950, in Harlan, Ky., the son of Claude Fee and the now deceased Audrey (Sanders) Fee. Larry married Diane Matthews on Nov. 7, 1970, in Sandusky. The couple moved to Kalkaska in May 2005, where they built their dream home. Together they had two wonderful children. Larry was employed by Endurance Coatings of Redford and was a member of Painters Union Local 675. He enjoyed hunting and playing with his grandchildren and his new puppy Abbey. He was a Vietnam veteran in the Marines and flew his flag proud.
Surviving Larry is his father, Claude Fee of Bellevue; his loving wife of 36 years, Diane; children, Allen L. Fee of Kalkaska and Pamela S. Tomek of Owenston, Ky.; sisters, Sandra S. (Phil) Rettig of Groverhill, Ohio, and Fay (Ernie) Cobb of Bellevue; grandchildren, Crystal Fee, Andrew Jagel, Keegan Fee, Karlee Tomek, Austin Spencer; and numerous family and friends.
Preceding Larry in death are his mother, Audrey Fee; and brother, Jack L. Fee.
The family will have a memorial dinner in Larry's honor from 2-10 p.m. July 21, 2007, in the VFW shelter on Perkins Avenue in Sandusky.
