Velma M. Moll-Cosentino, 87, of Sandusky, passed away early Friday morning, June 29, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus.
She was born Dec.13, 1919, in Toledo, and was employed with New Departure Hyatt, Sandusky Plant, for 30 years. She enjoyed camping and fishing at River Bend Resort in Caledonia, Ohio, and Camp-N-Water Resort in Homosassa, Fla., playing bingo, working with crafts and sewing.
She was a member of Sandusky Baptist Temple.
Velma is survived by her daughters, Jane Mahan of Maumee, Ohio, and Frances Numbers-Hall of Hale, Mich.; five grandchildren, Charles H. Numbers of Larkspur, Calif., Michael D. Numbers of Rockford, Ill., Mark J. Numbers of Loves Park, Ill., Eric R. Numbers of Owasso, Okla., and Carol J. Willison of Maumee, Ohio; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elaine F. (James) Escue of Galesburg, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Cosentino, in 2002; her father and stepmother, Charles and Florence Hall; her mother and stepfather, Beatrice (Harrington) and Edmond Earle; and her sister, Charlotte English.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Monday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where services will be 10 a.m. , Tuesday, with Pastor Wally Gilbert of Sandusky Baptist Temple officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
