Nancy Rose (Artino) Wranik, 73, of Racine, Wis., passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007, in St. Mary's Medical Center.
Nancy was born Nov. 3, 1933, in Sandusky, the daughter of Carl V. and Frances M. (Maschari) Artino, now deceased. She was a resident of Racine for 45 years. She was employed by Children's House, Western Publishing and Porters of Racine. Nancy was an active member of St. Rita Catholic Church, where she taught religious education and was a bingo caller. She also taught religious education at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Above all, she was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her children, Lisa (Ronny) Bowman, Nanette Woodward (Cecil Keown), John Wranik Maschari, Frances (Lee) Liley, Daniel Wranik and Scott and Barry Pfost; six grandchildren, Anna (Steve) Veltus, Lana Liley, Loni Liley, and Christopher, Samantha and Nicole Wranik; four great-grandchildren, Jessie, Shyla, Ashley and Steven; sister, Carol (Gene) Swain; nephew, Craig Swain; dear friend, Don Boutell; and other relatives and many dear friends.
In addition to here parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin; and son-in-law, Paul Woodward.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Rita Catholic Church. Interment will be private. Maresh-Maredith and Acklam Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
There will be a local mass at noon, July 6, 2007, in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Sandusky.
