Ruth Arlene (Sprowl) Carter, 81, of Milan, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007, in The Cleveland Clinic.
She was born May 3, 1926, in Rocky River, Ohio, and was a 1944 graduate of Milan High School. She was employed with the former Barr Rubber Inc. for 40 years.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Donna Boos of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; four grandchildren, Rhonda Janey of Cleveland, Michael Janey of Navar, Fla., Daniel Boos of Defuniak Springs , and Donald Boos of Valparaiso, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Brindi; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Brittany and Blake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Carter on Oct. 16, 2005; and her parents, Roy and Mildred (Smith) Sprowl.
Family services will be private with burial at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Home, 1 South Main St., Milan, is in charge of arrangements.
