Anna Mae (Wakefield) Stuckert, 91, of Findlay, Ohio, and formerly of Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday afternoon, June 13, 2007, in Birchaven Retirement Village of Findlay after a brief illness.
She was born Nov. 1, 1915, in Glouster, Ohio. She retired from the Perkins Twp. school system, where she had been employed in the cafeteria at Meadowlawn School, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and served as a volunteer at Care and Share. She enjoyed bowling, reading, sewing, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Stuckert is survived by her son, L. Thomas (Vicki) Stuckert of Findlay; and two grandchildren, Carrie Stuckert of Colorado and Joshua Stuckert of Findlay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell D. Stuckert, in 1991; and her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Corrine and Harold Jefferies.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. Monday until services at 1 p.m. in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Ned Bixler of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
