Arlene L. Goff, 85, of Sandusky and formerly of Port Clinton, passed away Sunday evening, June 10, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
She was born May 25, 1922, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Norris and Hazel (McClure) Rickner. Arlene was a homemaker. She was a member of the Women's Bunco Club of Port Clinton. Arlene enjoyed traveling to all of the U.S. States, playing bingo and going to various casinos. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Darrel Goff of Sandusky and Gary (Patty) Goff of LaCarne, Ohio; grandchildren, Tina (Daniel) Kish of Delaware, Ohio, and Adam (Jenny) Goff of Port Clinton; great-grandson, Wyatt Daniel Kish; sisters, Betty (Vernon) Young of Defiance, Janice Meggitt of Vickery, Verna (Phil) Lacer of Port Clinton, and Sharon (Ray) Johnson of Fort Myers, Fla.; brothers, Alvin (Barb) Rickner of Dallas, Ga., and Larry Rickner of Tice, Fla.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Loree Rickner, Alma Chaffin, Wanda Cover, Joyce Rickner and Bernice Nagy; brothers, Harold Rickner, Norval Rickner and Ronny Rickner; and grandson, Jason Lee Goff.
Visitation will be from noon Wednesday until funeral services at 2 p.m. in Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, Port Clinton. Pastor Deron Fourman will officiate. Interment will be in Meadow Green Cemetery, Huron.
Memorial contributions in Arlene's name can be given to the American Diabetes Association.
