Clifford E. "Tug" Wilhelm, 82, of Monroeville died Saturday, June 9, 2007, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.
He was born March 9, 1925, in Monroeville, where he was a lifelong resident. Tug was a farmer and a life member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville. He married Margaret Elmlinger Aug. 16, 1947.
He is survived by his children, Mary (Ken) Seliga of South Russell, Ohio, Rose Seliga of Stow, Ohio, Thomas (Mary) Wilhelm of Monroeville, Jeanne (James) Schubert of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Catherine (James) Limbird of Attica, Joseph (Sheryl) Wilhelm of Monroeville, and Ronald (Jennifer) Wilhelm of Lubbock, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Elmlinger) Wilhelm in 2005; one grandson, James Clifford Limbird in 1990; his parents, Otto and Rachel (Ott) Wilhelm; five brothers, Oscar, Richard, Lambert, Russell and James Wilhelm; and one sister, Sister Mary Lambert, S.N.D.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel St., Monroeville. The Rev. Kenneth J. Lill will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville.
