Joseph F. Crupi, 82, of Huron, died Thursday, June 7, 2007, in Cleveland Clinic, after a brief illness.
He was born April 12, 1925, in Girard, Ohio and had been a resident of Huron for the last 53 years. He worked at Industrial Nut Corp., Sandusky, for 28 years retiring in 1995. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the United Paper workers International Union and United Steelworkers Union Local 1-211. He enjoyed the outdoors and dancing with his longtime companion, Luella Mussell.
Other survivors include his daughter, JoEtta Crupi of Huron; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Richter) Crupi in 1992; sister, Josephine Golubic; and brother, James Crupi.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services.
