CRYSTAL RIVER, FLA.
Michael Lee Hand, 45, of Crystal River, Fla., died Sunday, June 3, 2007, in his home.
Born June 29, 1961, in Sandusky, to James and Edna Hand in Sandusky, he moved to the Florida area 28 years ago. He retired as heavy equipment operator and mechanic. Mr. Hand was Deacon in the Kingdom Empowerment Church of Crystal River, a past member of IBEW Local Union in Tampa, Fla. Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Lynece Hand of Crystal River; two daughters, Amber Camp of Beverly Hills and Brittany Wilks of Crystal River; mother and stepfather, Lee and Edna Baumeister of Inglewood, Fla., stepmother, Patricia Hand of Sandusky; three brothers, Mark Hand of Toledo, Chris and Randy Hand, both of Sandusky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday in Strickland Funeral Home, Crystal River. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Crystal River United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Gill and the Rev. Al Hopkins officiating.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Kingdom Empowerment Church, Crystal River.
