Andrew "Drew" Michael Weyer, 30, of Whites Landing, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 1, 2007, in his home,
He was born July 7, 1976, in Sandusky. He was a baptized member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia, and was saved and a baptized member of Yellow Creek No. 2 Church in Middlesboro, Ky. Drew was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians and watching U.F.C. He also loved spending time with his family, nieces, nephews, friends, brothers and sisters. He participated in two demolition derbies and won the first one he entered.
Drew is survived by his wife, Katherian (Hash) Weyer; two sons, Matthew Smith and Lonnie Engle; father, Calvin Weyer; mother, Kathy Wilburn; two grandmothers, Betty Wilburn and Edna Weyer; three sisters, Paula "Bruce" Raymond, Amanda "Joe" Till and Angela Swain; five brothers, Keith Weyer, Kevin "Connie" Weyer, Arthur "Melissa" Weyer, Anthony Bye and David Swain Jr.; and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Alvenius (Barney) Weyer and Arthur (Ott) Wilburn.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Visitation will also be 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Yellow Creek No. 2 Church, Middlesboro, Ky., where services will be 10 a.m. Friday. Pastors John Brown and Ray Gulley will officiate.
