Evelyn M. Harlan, 89, of Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday afternoon, May 9, 2007, in Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
She was born July 14, 1917, in Sandusky, and was a 1935 graduate of Sandusky High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy A. Williams of Sandusky; son, William "David" Harlan of Huron; grandchildren, Danny Williams, Steven (Ana) Williams, Nathan (Leslie) Harlan, Rachel (Gary) Harlan, Charles (Lisa) Middleton, and Jennifer (John) Shenk; great-grandchildren, Alexa, Chloe, Taylor, Tori, Victoria, Adrian and Lindsay; sister, Elizabeth (Don) Curtis of Sandusky; niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Harlan on Nov. 6, 1997; father, Abraham Gruick; parents, Louis and Laura (Wells) Gessner; sister, Marguerite Gruick.
At her request, there will be no visitation. A private memorial service will be in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sandusky. Pastor Gary R. Ulrich will officiate.
