Aurora Ramon, 62, of Vickery, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
She was born Nov. 18, 1944, in Seguin, Texas, to Pedro and Olivia (Ramon) Lopez. Aurora was a 1963 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. She married Vidal Ramon on Aug. 16, 1963, in Angola, Ind., and he survives. Aurora was a homemaker and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sandusky and World Harvest Church in Columbus. She loved baking and cooking, gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
Aurora is survived by her husband, Vidal Ramon of Vickery; son, Miguel A. Ramon of Green Springs; daughter, Sylvia T. Ramon of Vickery; brother, Paul Lopez of Fremont; sisters, Carmen Vargas of Fremont and Margaret Castillo of Temperance, Mich.; grandchildren, Randi Ramon, Miguel Ramon Jr., Katie Ramon, and Daniela Ramon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel M. Ramon; grandmother, Francisca Ramon; brothers, Pedro Lopez Jr. and John Frank Lopez.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Wonderly-Horvath-Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont.
