Charles K. "Ken" Shuman Jr., 36, of Green Springs died Thursday, May 3, 2007, in Bellevue Hospital .
Son of Rosella "Sis" Shuman Cooper and the late Charles K. Shuman Sr., he was born June 21, 1970 in Fremont. He was owner/operator of Shuman Construction Co. in Green Springs. He married Tina R. Marshall Aug. 26, 1988, in Fremont. He enjoyed hunting and spoiling his German short-haired pointer, Dixie. He also liked country and bluegrass music and playing the guitar. Some of his best times were spent watching old westerns and spending time with friends and family. Ken was a very giving person who always thought of others before himself.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Shuman of Green Springs; son, Jacob Shuman of Green Springs; daughter, Jami Shuman of Green Springs; mother and stepfather, Rosella "Sis" Shuman Cooper and Joe Cooper; sister, Lynn (Jeff) Jacobs of Green Springs.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles K. Shuman Sr., and maternal grandparents, Frank and Rowena Harvey.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Foos-Klein Funeral Home, 318 S. Main St. , Clyde. Funeral services will be private.
