Frank D. Bolling, 66, of Norton, Va., passed away Saturday, April 28th at his residence in Norton, Va., after a lengthy illness.
He was born May 25, 1940, in Norton, Va., and moved to Sandusky in 1966. He was employed by Sandusky Folding Box then later by Chesapeake Displayco. He moved to Vanleer, Tenn., in 1994 then to Norton in 2006 after his retirement. Frank loved fishing, golf and gardening and was a member of Ramsey Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sherry (Stidham); a son, Jeffrey (Kerri) Bolling of Mineola, Fla.; two daughters, Jennifer (Michael) Speer of Castalia and Angela Villarreal of Bellevue; nine grandchildren, Seth and Cordelia Bolling of Mineola, Ryan, Kristen and Lindsay Miller of Sandusky, Ben Villarreal of Columbus, Alanna Villarreal of Kent, Ohio, Anel Villarreal of Sandusky and Summer Stein of Bellevue; one great-grandchild, Rylee Miller of Huron; six sisters; four brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister in infancy and by his parents, Kelton and Bertha (Houston) Bolling.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Mullins officiating. Burial followed at Laurel Grove Cemetary, Norton.
