Pearl Helen (Shepherd) Patrick, 88, of 533 W. Pearl St., Willard, died at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, South Campus, Sandusky.
Pearl was born April 19, 1919, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Jack and Molly Shepherd. On Aug. 27, 1939, in Upper Sandusky, she married her husband, Gomer John Patrick, and he survives in Quality Care nursing home, Willard.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann (Patrick) Brooks of Utah; sons, Franklin Winston (Joan) Patrick of Bucyrus, Ohio, Gomer "Grover" Patrick Jr. of Sausalito, Calif., and Michael H.G. and Vance Edward Patrick, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pearl spent a lifetime collecting and selling antiques. Pearl's first business was Patrick's Used Furniture, located in downtown Willard. Her expertise in the knowledge of antiques combined with business sense afforded her to purchase real estate, be self employed for more than 60 years. Pearl antiques have traveled as far as Hollywood.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Sunday until services at 2 p.m. in Willard Christian Missionary Alliance Church, where a dinner will follow.
