Charles Milton Teasley, 67, of Greenwood, S.C., went to be with Jesus Tuesday morning, April 17, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born Oct. 11, 1939, in Fair Play, S.C. He was employed with Foster Chevrolet prior to moving to South Carolina, where he owned his own shop for a number of years. He was a member of Lake View Baptist Church.
Mr. Teasley is survived by his wife, Judith (Snipes) Teasley of Greenwood; daughters, Jackie (Doug) Ves of Greenwood and Theresa Meadows of Anderson, S.C.; sons, Charles C. Teasley and James Christopher Teasley of Greenwood, and Jason Dwaine Teasley of Anderson; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Grace (Don) Allen, Kathy Kirby, Marie Dingus and Charlene Ault, all of Sandusky; a brother, James Clem of Sandusky; his stepmother, Gladys Irby of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia (McFarrin) Teasley; sons, Randolph Milton Teasley and William Malcolm "Moochie" Teasley; parents, William Claude and Hazel Lou (Fricks) Teasley; and a brother, William Curtis Teasley.
Private family services will be held with burial in Memorial Gardens, Greenwood.
Groff Funeral Home, Sandusky, is in charge of local arrangements.
