Larry D. Manbeck, 64, of Harrisburg, Pa., and formerly of Orlando, Fla., passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007, in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pa.
He was born Oct. 18, 1942, in Akron, Ohio, the son of Irvin and Marjorie (Matz) Manbeck, now deceased. Larry served as a B52 Crew Chief Mechanic at Loring Airforce Base, and retired from Delta Airlines, after 27 years of service as lead aircraft mechanic. He established his residence in Orlando with his family, where he raised two sons.
Surviving are his two sons, Todd (Tammie) Manbeck of Winter Springs, Fla.; Jason (Kristina) Manbeck, and his grandson, Anthony of Enola, Pa.; one brother, Michael (Cindy) Manbeck, and his nephew, David, of Charleston, S.C.; uncle, Paul Matz of Green Springs; aunt, Dorrine Matz of Republic, Ohio; Jack Hanover of Illinois; and cousin, Gary Hanover of Elk Grove, Ill.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Zion United Church of Christ (Fireside) in Bellevue, with Pastor Candice Thomas officiating.
