Robert W. Keegan, 62, of Castalia, died Wednesday morning, April 11, 2007, in Firelands Community Hospital, Main Campus, Sandusky.
He was born March 14, 1945, in Fremont, Ohio, and was a 1963 graduate of Margaretta High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University and was a manufacturing supervisor at Delphi for more than 30 years, retiring in 2001. Prior to Delphi, he had been employed by Ford Motor Co. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing and collecting artifacts.
Bob is survived by his wife, the former Bonnie Rice, to whom he was married for 39 years; two sons, Gregory (Jame) Keegan and Jason (Christa) Keegan, both of Castalia; three grandchildren, Brittany, Kaden and Reese; his mother, Helen Majoy Keegan of Clyde; two sisters, Marlene (Larry) Bilhardt of Huron and Cheri (Kurt) Newton of Sandusky; three brothers, Terry L. Keegan, Michael (Paulette) Keegan and Joe (Eve) Keegan, all of Clyde; nieces; nephews; aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon C. Keegan; and a brother, Gordon Ronald Keegan.
Friends may call form 10 a.m. Saturday until services at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 609 Vine St., Clyde. The Rev. Dennis A. Schroeder will officiate. Cremation has taken place. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
