Roy C. Seville Jr., 86, of 5019 Denver Ave., Sandusky, died Wednesday morning, April 11, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 14, 1921, in Attica, Ohio, and was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. Roy was employed at the former New Departure-Hyatt, Division of General Motors, retiring in 1975. He had also worked for Riedy Roofing in Sandusky, for many years. He was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Sandusky, the American Legion and the Eagles.
He is survived by five daughters, Henrietta (Jim Feasel) Adkins of Clyde, Joyce Heino of Seattle, Wash., Shirley Seville of Sandusky, Virginia Seville of Fremont, and Dolores Seville of Sandusky; six grandchildren, including Dolores Conrad of Sandusky; seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta A. Seville, in 1988; his parents, Roy C. and Mary H. (Lepard) Seville Sr.; four brothers; and four sisters.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, and from 9 a.m. Saturday until services at 10 a.m. in Resurrection Lutheran Church, 216 Pennsylvania Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Andrea Starns will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
