George “Easy” Brown, 73, of Sandusky, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 6, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 15, 1934, in Sandusky, and graduated in 1952 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Peter (Grace) Brown and sister, Christenella (Roosevelt) Rogers, both of Sandusky; sisters-in-law, Aline Brown and Faye Brown both of Sandusky; brother-in-law, Leroy Hearns of Cleveland; honorary daughters, Yolanda Rogers and Karen Moore; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deidra Brown; parents, Charlie and Gertrude (Williams) Brown; sisters, Lola Bell Brown, Marvelene Willimore, Jane Bell Willimore, Drucilla Hearns, and Florene Balton; brothers, Pervis Brown Sr., Charlie Brown Jr., and John Carl Brown.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. Wednesday until funeral services at 1 p.m. in the Kingdom Lifestyle Worship Center, 2111 Cleveland Road, Sandusky. The Rev. Ventrice Kuhl will officiate. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery.

He was employed as a butcher by Sandusky Dressed Beef for 38 years, and was a union steward. He loved being surrounded by his family and sharing his vast knowledge with them. Affectionately known as “gadget man”, there was nothing he could not fix. George also had the love of sports and passion for music.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lois (Lemons) Brown; son, Stephan Brown of Sandusky; daughters, Laurie (Robert) Coleman, Vanessa (L.W.) Jordan, Sherri (Joseph) Shine, all of Sandusky and Melanie Brown of Columbus; nine grandchildren;
