Jennie Bell Endicott, 87, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007, in Ashland, Ky., after a lengthy illness.
She was born Feb. 8, 1920, in Martin County, Ky. She was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church of Job, Ky. Jennie was an active crafter for church bazaars in Sandusky. She loved to quilt and to visit and help her friends and neighbors. During her life, Jennie worked for Universal Clay Products, Barr Rubber and Union Chain. Jennie was an avid gardener and cook. She enjoyed her time with her friends and family.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. David (Margaret) McKean of Columbus, and Mrs. Gerald (Reva) Kaufman of Rossford, Ohio; and a son, Harold Endicott of Ashland, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Claude (Zelma) Ward of Williamson of W. Va.; and six grandchildren, Mrs. Donn (Cynthia) Schirg of Sandusky, Mrs. Mark (Kimberly) Aufdencamp, Mrs. Brent (Terri) Jones, Mr. Mark McKean and Mrs. Tom (Lorie) Rees, all of Columbus, and Mr. Steven Kaufman of Westerville, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren, Michael Kromer of Grove City, Ohio, Nicole Aufdencamp, Kate Jones, Keira and Korey Rees, and Rachel and William Kaufman, all of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
Jennie is preceded in death by her husband, Lambert Endicott; one son, Billy Ray Endicott, in infancy; her parents, Atlas and Mary Alice (Cassel) Baisden; four sisters, Flora Fannin, Blanche Hester Ward, Rachel and Lula Baisden; and one brother, Harry Baisden.
Friends may call from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday inGroff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ray Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery.
