Helen Walton, 84, of Medina, Ohio, and formerly of Sandusky, died Thursday, April 5, 2007, in The Hospice at the Inn of Medina, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Walton was born Sept. 28, 1922, in Bay Bridge, Ohio. She was a graduate of Margaretta High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Sandusky.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Richard) Ruh of Medina; her son, Brian D. (Lisa) Walton of Tennessee; two grandsons, Brett and Matt; her sister, Elizabeth (Charles) Andres of Sandusky; and a brother, Charles (Pearl) Worosher of Huron; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Walton, who died in 1985; her parents, Charles and Mary (Kutnich) Worosher; a sister, Mary Ewell; and two brothers, Mike and Gabriel Worosher.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where prayers will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, in St. Marys Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Philip Feltman will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetry.
