Lois A. Frost, 88, of Sandusky, passed away early Thursday afternoon, March 22, 2007, in the Erie County Care Facility, Huron, after a brief illness.
She was born June 22, 1918, in Barron, Wis., and had served in the Army Air Corp. during World War II. Her family was very important to her, as well as, helping at Victory Temple Church, or the soup kitchen by knitting mittens, gloves and scarves for others. She was a homemaker and a member of the Victory Temple Church, Eleanor Chapter 331 Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Post 83 and the Women Veterans Memorial of Washington D.C.
She is survived by three sons, Donald A. "Jack" Frost II, Gregory J. (Mary) Frost and Phillip J. (Donna) Frost all of Sandusky; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Ashlock of Grand Junction, Colo., and Norma McKown of Houston, Texas; three brothers, James Sanns of San Diego, Calif., and William and Gregory Sanns of Grand Junction, Colo.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex Richard and Laura Irene (Kellicut) Sanns; husband, Donald A. Frost on Nov. 3, 2001; brother, Richard Sanns; and sister, Margie Thomson.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday in David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where services will be 11 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Rick Walters will be officiating. Burial will be held later in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
