Eunice Norman, 78, of Monroe Street, Bellevue, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007, in The Bellevue Hospital due to illness.
Eunice was born April 18, 1928, in Old Fort to Raymond and Ruth (Bilger) Springer, now deceased. Eunice retired from Norfolk Southern in 1992 where she was employed as a clerk. Eunice enjoyed working outside in her yard, attending flea markets and caring for her chickens.
Survivors include three sons; Gene (Leann) Norman Jr. of Bloomville, James L. Norman of Bellevue and Torrance K. (Diane) of Bellevue; one daughter, Darlene R. (Steve Smith) Norman of Fremont; 12 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Springer of Tucson, Ariz., Irvin Springer of Fremont, Raymond Springer of Collins and Elwood Springer of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Mardell Morganstern of Holland, Ohio, Elaine Gibson of Bellevue and Rosella Kiesel of Tiffin.
Eunice is preceded in death by her parents; husband Gene Norman Sr.; daughter Sharon Norman; grandson James L. Norman Jr.; brothers Don Springer and Dale Springer; and sisters Betty M. Weller, Pauline Springer and Dolores Springer.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Foos and Son Funeral Home; 311 W. Main St., Bellevue, where the funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Ralph Flynn officiating . Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
