Garnita J. Bilger, 88, of Bellevue, died Thursday, March 22, 2007, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
Mrs. Bilger was born Sept. 1, 1918, in Bellevue, to Alvin and Agatha (Nevland) Butz, now deceased. She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1936 and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she had been active in the circles of the church and formerly the secretary of BWHA.
On Oct. 20, 1939, she married Ted F. Bilger and he survives; as does a daughter, Sherri (Paul) Szucs of Bellevue; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Bilger of Monroeville; and a sister, Wilma (Don) Yingling of Bellevue.
She is preceded in death by her son, Bruce C. Bilger on July 5, 1980.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. John's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Bellevue cemetery.
