Dorothea E. Brewster, 83, of Huron, went to be with our Lord on Friday, March, 16, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
She was born July 31, 1923, in Cleveland, and had been a Huron resident for the past 75 years. She was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church, Huron, and belonged to the Altar Guild. She enjoyed sewing, reading and growing African Violets as a hobby. She also enjoyed her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia (Ronald) Parsons of West Jefferson, Ohio, and Amy (Timothy) Thompson of Evergreen, Colo.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Eleanor Barber of Huron and Marjorie (Jack) Mullen of College Station, Texas; two half-sisters; and a half-brother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Brewster in 2001; a daughter, Jane Nafzger; and a sister, Leita Schorr.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. March 30, 2007, in Christ Episcopal Church, 120 Ohio St., Huron. Foster Funeral Home, Huron, is in charge of arrangements.
