Richard D. Bryant, 85, of Mount Lebanon, Ohio, died March 11, 2007.

He is survived by his children, Donald L. (Kathleen) Bryant of North Vancouver, B.C., and Dorothy (Jim) Geiger of Sandusky; granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Stein; sister, Virginia (William) Thomas of Eureka, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, and his mother, Caroline (Overfield) Read.

Dick was a retired marketing executive for Bell Telephone and a WWII Army Air Corps veteran. He was a member of Brookline American Legion; a Master Mason, Dallas Lodge 231; a 33rd Degree member of AASR, Valley of Pittsburgh; high priest at Zerubbabel-Duquesne Chapter 162, thrice illustrious master, Mount Moriah Council 2 and past commander, Pittsburgh Commandry 1. He was also a recipient of the KYCH York Rite Cross of Honor.

Visitation was March 13 and funeral services were Wednesday at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial was Thursday at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 933 Brookline Blvd., Brookline, Ohio. Burial with military honors followed at Jefferson Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
