William E. Williams, 85, formerly of Ohio 18, Bellevue, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007, in Orchard Grove Retirement Community in Bellevue.
He was born Oct 2, 1921, in Bellevue, the son of Don E. and Olive (Overmyer) Williams, now deceased. Bill was retired from General Electric, Bellevue Lamp Plant, where he was a machinist. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Knights of Columbus, Eagles Aerie 490, a life-member of VFW Post 1236, Mad River Railroad Society and Moose Lodge 238. He was a WWII Navy veteran.
Survivors include his brother, Terry Williams of Fremont; sister, Nancy Williams of Arlington, Va.; caregivers, Ted and Ruth Warner of Bellevue; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Bernadine (Wiczynski) Williams, whom he married July 20, 1946, in Milwaukee; three brothers; and three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Foos and Son Funeral Home, 311 W. Main St., Bellevue, where the Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue, with the Very Rev. Keith Stripe officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee, at a later date.
