Patsy K. Reigle, 73, of Sandusky, passed away late Saturday evening, March 17, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 14, 1933, in Sandusky, the daughter of Glen and Anna Reigle. Graduating in 1951 from Sandusky High School, she then served in the Women's Army Corps for two years. She left there a corporal with her LPN license and worked as a pharmacist's aide at Memorial and Firelands hospitals. She retired in 1998 after 44 years of service.
She was a life member of AMVETS and Vacationland Eagles Aerie 444. Every year she participated in the Cardiac 5K Run for Firelands. She also enjoyed watching cooking shows and sports.
She is survived by three sisters, Donna A. (James) Ferguson, Vivian L. Reigle and Karen M. Otto, all of Sandusky; brother, John (Eupha) Reigle of Hurst, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard C. Reigle.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where AMVETS Post 17 will host services at 6 p.m. Private graveside services will be at Castalia Cemetery.
