Patrick David Straub, 17, of Put-In-Bay, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, March 15, 2007, in his home.
He was born Sept. 12, 1989, in Port Clinton, and was a recent high school graduate and was employed with Colonial Corporation. He enjoyed playing video games, spending time with his niece and nephews and taking late night walks around the island with his family. Patrick will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Patrick is survived by his parents, Scott M. Sr. and Patricia (Smith) Straub; his sisters, Jennifer (Judson) Becker and Debra (Gregory) Moses, all of Sandusky, and Amber Campbell, at home; his brother, Scott (Rebecca) Straub Jr. of Sandusky; a nephew, Scott III; and twin niece and nephew, Autumn and Brandon; his maternal grandmother, Rose Smith ofSandusky; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Russell Smith; and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Marilyn Straub.
Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. Monday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, with The Rev. Robert Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
