AVON PARK, Fla.
Charles W. Bradshaw, 83, of Avon Park, Fla., passed away Friday, March 9, 2007, in Sebring, Fla.
He was born in Russellville, Ky., to Fred and Alberta (Sisk) Bradshaw. He moved from Sandusky to Avon Park in 1980. He was a skilled tradesman for Ford Motor Co., in Sandusky; a veteran of the U.S. Navy; and a former dance instructor at Arthur Murray School of Dance in Miami. He was a member of River Green Golf and Country Club and First Baptist Church, both in Avon Park.
He is survived by his wife, Melba Bradshaw of Avon Park; son, Jerry Bradshaw of Cleveland; daughter, Joyce Bradshaw of Lakeland, Fla.; stepson, Stephen Dick of Glendale, Ariz.; stepdaughter, Kay Baker of Bellevue; brothers, James Bradshaw of Auburn, Ky., and Frank Bradshaw of Russellville, Ky.; sister, Frances Ray of Hopkinsville, Ky., three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was Tuesday at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, 111 E. Circle St., Avon Park, with Dr. Vernon Harkey officiating.
