Joyce E. Boeshart, 77, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor.
She was born on June 27, 1929, in Port Clinton, the daughter of Adolph P. and Marguerite M. (Wahlers) Miller. On July 7, 1951, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, she married Robert A. Boeshart and he preceded her in death, Jan. 3, 1993. She graduated in 1951 from the University of Toledo with a bachelor's of science in medical technology and worked as a medical technologist in hospitals in Toledo, Sandusky and Port Clinton. Later she and her husband joined her father in the family's Western Auto Store in downtown Port Clinton. The store later became Bob's Home and Auto and later Radio Shack. Joyce also owned and operated The Storkette Shop in the same location.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Tim) Estep of Port Clinton; and grandsons, Timothy "TJ" Estep of Baltimore, Md., and Thomas R. Estep of Port Clinton.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Bruce Allen Boeshart; and a granddaughter, Ann Kathryn Estep.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday in Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where prayer services will begin 9:30 a.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, with The Rev. John C. Missler will officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
