Raymond C. Bauman, 71, of Willard, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in Willard Mercy Hospital.
He was born Oct. 14, 1935, in Monroeville, to Alfred V. and Leona (Hafner) Bauman, now deceased, and had been a resident of the Havana area all of his life. He was a former member of St. Sebastian Church in Bismark. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth. He was also a member of the K of C in Attica and Ohio Farm Bureau. He was a youth minister and was a CCD Teacher at St. Sebastian Catholic Church. He did construction work and enjoyed working on the family farm.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Eberly) Bauman, whom he married in 1955; three daughters, Deborah (Bob) Breyman of Willard, Janet (Rocky) Clark of Willard and Jacalyn (Shawn) Houck of Monroeville; five sons, Ronald (Lynne) Bauman of Roswell, Ga., Randy (Janine) Bauman of Monroeville, Jerry Bauman of Havana, Dan (Shannon) Bauman of Havana and Don (Jackie) Bauman of Westerville, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two sisters, Betty Yost of Fostoria and Carolyn Schwan of Monroeville.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister, in infancy.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in Secor Funeral Home, Willard, where prayer services will be 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth, with The Rev. Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will be at the St. Sebastian Catholic Cemetery in Bismark, Ohio.
