Betty J. (Brown) Gorman, 77, of Huron, died Friday, March 2, 2007, in Great Lakes Transitional Care in Sandusky.
She was born Oct. 10, 1929, in Sandusky, and was a lifelong resident of the area, moving to Huron in 1956. She enjoyed her grandchildren and their activities.
She is survived by five sons, John (Linda) Gorman of Parma, Ohio, Charles (Kathy) Gorman of Colorado Springs, Colo., Richard (Michelle) Gorman of Seattle, Jeffrey (Kaye) Gorman of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and James (Maureen) Gorman of Madison, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Snyder of Phoenix; and a brother, Charles Brown of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Gorman, in 2000; and her parents, Curtis and Evelyn (Miller) Brown.
Family visitation and services will be private at Foster Funeral Home, Huron, with the Rev. David Aber, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Huron, officiating. Cremation will take place and burial will be in Scott Cemetery in Huron.
