Theresa A. (Fresch) Moots, 75, of Sandusky, passed away early Friday evening, March 2, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
She was born April 1, 1931, in Sandusky, and was a 1949 graduate of Sandusky High School. She was a former employee of Scott Paper Company, Cardinal Grocery Store and House of Donuts. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a great cook. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, where she was involved in the choir, the bereavement committee and other activities.
She is survived by her two sons, John J. (Sue) Moots of Sandusky and Timothy L. (Kris) Moots of Castalia; four grandchildren, Laura, Zak, Kim and J.J.; two great-grandchildren, Amya and Tony; four sisters, Mary Bacni, Rose (Tutie) LaRose, Viola (Harry) Baker and Vincez Myer, all of Sandusky; two brothers, Vincent (Phyllis) Fresch of Arizona and Charles (Brenda) Fresch of Sandusky; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Lyle Barnum of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Moots Sr. in 1990; infant son, Jack H. Moots Jr. in 1966; parents, Joseph and Jenny (DeLuca) Fresch; and sister, Alma Everett, in 1989.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where prayers will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Christopher Kardzis will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Sandusky.
