Earl Hensley, 59, of 110 Fairview Ave., Sandusky, passed away Sunday morning, March 4, 2007, in his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester, Ky. He made his home in Sandusky for 42 years. He retired from Armstrong Air Conditioning Inc. Earl loved hunting and bluegrass music.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joann (Gibbs) Hensley; two daughters, Michelle (Jim) Page and Lisa (Jim) Drake; son, Jeff Hensley; seven grandchildren, Timmy, Crystal, Kathy, Scott, Page, Dylan, Tori and Cassie Drake; three brothers, Clifford (Mary) Hensley of Sandusky, Eugene (Gloria) Hensley of Clyde and Eddie Hensley of Manchester; two sisters, Nannie Mae Bundy of Manchester and Geneva (Renus) Gibbs; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Prince Prudue and Dewey Sibert.
Earl was preceded in death by his son, Earl Dean Hensley; parents, Henry and Stella (Root) Hensley; and four brothers, Henry Jr., Jeff, Edgar and Theo Hensley.
Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday in Ransom Funeral Home, 610 Castalia St., Castalia, where funeral services will be at noon Wednesday. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
