Teddy L. Jackson, 65, of Huron, died Monday morning, Feb. 27, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born June 27, 1941, in Xenia, Ohio, and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He retired in 2003 from the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky, in the maintenance department, working for 15 years. He was a lifetime member of the AMVETS, Vermilion Post and a member of the Sandusky Eagles 444.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen Jackson; daughters, Hope Strickland, Xenia, and Heather Cole of Huron; sons, Christopher (Bobbie) Jackson of Lansing, Mich., and Christopher Lee Cole of Willowick, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Virginia (Ted) Terrell of Cedarville, Ohio, Nancy (Grover) Yates of South Charleston, Ohio, Juanita Hoop of Xenia and Elizabeth Weaver of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Nora Lee (Gillespie) Jackson.
There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held.
