Mildred Agnes Wick, 83, of Sandusky, died Sunday evening, Feb. 25, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born Feb. 19, 1924, in Clyde. She was employed as a cook in the dietary department of Firelands Community Hospital and the former Memorial Hospital, and she also had worked at Barr Rubber and Scott Paper.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Mary A. (John ) Wyatt of Marietta, Ga.; son, Robert A. Wick of Sandusky; two grandchildren, Melinda Wyatt and Kevin Wyatt; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior A. Wick, on Feb. 1, 1996; her parents, William and Abbott (Terry) Whiley; sisters, Estelle, Nina, Frances “Maude”, Ruth and Helen; and brothers, Ray, Roy, Lester, Clyde and Carl.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. Friday until funeral services at 11 a.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
