Donald M. Graham, 84, of Lorain, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born June 18, 1922, in Verona, N.J., and moved to the Milan-Norwalk area in 1952. He worked for Price Construction Co., Norwalk, and retired from Wikel Manufacturing, Sandusky, in 1988. He then moved to the Mount Vernon, Ohio, area and lived there 15 years until moving to Lorain in 2003.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Amherst. He played semi-professional baseball and professional soccer in New Jersey. He enjoyed gardening and attending his grandchildren's sporting events and was an avid Yankees fan.
He is survived by his wife, Aldene (Roth), to whom he was married 55 years; two daughters, Janett (Paul) Williams of Lorain and Joy (Gordon) Overs of Amherst; a son, Donald (Andrea) Kim, of Forest, Va.; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Charlotte Lewandowski of Parlin, N.J.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Charlotte (Furnser) Graham; and a sister and brother.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron, where services will be 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Michael Plog will officiate. Entombment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
