Thomas E. Creech, 80, formerly of Bellevue, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, in Wooster, Ohio.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bellevue Cemetery, where military rites will be held.

Tom was born Aug. 23, 1930, in Bellevue to Sidney and M. Evelyn (Pritchard) Creech. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1948 and served on the USS Brule in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Kae Maike on Oct. 11, 1959 and she survives.

Tom enjoyed working for UPS for 30 years until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bellevue Elks Lodge 1013, a life member of Bellevue VFW Post 1238, and former member of Bellevue F.O.E. Aerie 490. As an active Mason, Tom was a 50-year-member and Past Master of Bellevue Lodge 273 F&AM, Past High Priest of Bellevue Chapter 113 R&AM, Past Illustrious Master of Bellevue Council 83, and Scottish Rite -- Valley of Canton.

Tom enjoyed working on classic cars, wintering in Naples, Fla., and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Tom will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Kae; daughters, Pam (Alex) Roberts of Wooster and Holly (Scott) Van Lente of Ada, Mich.; grandchildren, Wesley and Justin Roberts and Logan and Sydney Kae Van Lente; and a brother, Richard Creech of California.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
