Annette J. Veverka, 49, of Marblehead died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 6, 2009, in Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.
She was born Aug. 10, 1959, in Sandusky, the daughter of Donald Walters and Betty Jane (Brown) Walters Lalond.
Annette was employed by Marina Restaurant, Goodwill, and for more than 22 years was the office staff of Outdoor Power Equipment. She was a member of Camp Runinmuck, loved boating and going to Kelley’s Island, vacationing with her husband, snowmobiling and spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, John C. Veverka, whom she married Sept. 24, 1977; daughter, Christine Veverka and sons, JC and Jeff Veverka; grand-children, Caia, Sarah and Lily, all of Marblehead; sisters, Melissa (Walters) Pietschman and LeeAnne (Walters) Peace; and brother, Michael Walters, all of Sandusky; several half-sisters and brother; and a niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call 4–7 p.m. Monday in Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Marblehead, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
