Car recovered after suicide try at Norwalk Reservoir

A Mansfield man drove his car into the Norwalk reservoir late Wednesday in a suicide attempt, then apparently had a change of heart. After driving his Chevrolet Impala into the upper reservoir at Veterans Memorial Lake Park, Jeremy Blakely, 34, escaped on his own and walked to a relative's home nearby, Norwalk police Capt. Eric Hipp said.

Divers pull car from Norwalk Reservoir

NORWALK Two divers and a wrecking company pulled a car from the Norwalk Reservoir this morning after a Mansfield man drove it into the water Wednesday night in an apparent suicide attempt.

St. Paul graduates 59

It's a given that the St. Paul High School class of 2010 was extra-special to the family members and friends who have supported them. But these 59 graduates also hold a special place in the hearts of principal Jim Tokarsky and Norwalk Catholic School president Walt Klimaski, though the two educators have witnessed plenty of graduations and have more to come.
