The North Fairfield teen who prompted a police investigation and made national headlines when she disappeared can start her senior year of high school with the ordeal behind her.
Abbi Obermiller, 17, admitted to a charge of obstructing official business as she appeared before Huron County juvenile Judge Timothy Cardwell. In exchange for her admission, prosecutors agreed to drop a charge of unruliness, juvenile court administrator Chris Mushett said.
She was released into her parents’ custody, placed on probation and ordered to perform 40 hours of community service.

well the main only thing that I am glad to hear is that she was found and returned home and is safe , And i hope she can place tis behind her and get on with her life , I know she is going to have a rough time of it .GOOD LUCK YOUNG LADY

Good for you, young lady. You learned a good lesson. Now go back to school, study hard, go on to college, study hard and get yourself a good job doing something you like to do. And don't even think about getting married until you're at least 30!
