600 block Carrol Ave., woman found sexting conversation between 15-year-old daughter and a 22-year-old man. When woman snooped deeper into daughter’s phone, she found another sexting conversation with a 35-year-old registered sex offender. She grounded daughter and called police.

Good question... I don't recall hearing anything over the scanner about it....

Hopefully the authorities will pursue legal charges against the 35-year-old registered sex offender and get him off the streets again.

As for the mother, she deserves both applause and respect for being a good, concerned parent who takes an interest in her child's activities. She may have prevented this girl from becoming another rape or murder statistic on the crime blotter.
