600 block Birchwood Drive, man stopped stranger who walked through his yard, asked stranger what he was doing. Stranger said it was none of his business. Man begged to differ and followed but lost stranger in patch of woods.

In days gone by, this would have been no big deal. However, it is a big deal now. There had to be a reason this man was trespassing. And if he was just innocently using this property as a short cut, then there was no reason to be rude. That's why you always take a cell phone with you. Then you can take a picture of the person and if your house is broken into, you at least have a picture of a suspect.

I love it! Take a picture; the last time I was with someone who wanted to take pictures of possible bad guys was on a deserted beach in the Bahamas. A Boston Whaler ran up on the beach, three guys jumped out hauling bails of stuff. They ran up the beach to a waiting black van and an idiot with me started snapping a picture, one guy yelled over in a strong accident “Don’t you take me fu----- picture” I thought that vacation was ending the hard way. Like you said, in these times! I would not approach without something in my pocket and it is longer than 9MM : )

Just string small fish hooks on fishing line around the inside perimeter of your yard about five foot off the ground, but don't forget the no trespass signs to give them a chance to turn around . >: )))

Birchwood Dr? Are there sidewalks there or do people either walk in the yard or take a chance and walk in the street? Don't really know what the big deal is. People walk in my yard all the time. As long as they keep moving and don't loiter I don't care. Not worth calling the police for.
