So not only do we as taxpayers have to pay for this trash to sit and drag this out....and you know he will since he is so familiar with the system....but now we have to pay for his special metal bracelets to match his outfit???? When did Erie County become so Couture???? Were these special order??? Or is this just a coincidence???

special order. they do this for everyone. i have even seen ones with a paisley design on them. such a waste of money.

Typically when different colors of anything are used it's because each department probably has their own color. That way they can identify which department the cuffs belong to. Or it may be that they use the color in regards to a threat level the same as jumpsuit color. Especially since now Erie County is being forced to house so many accused murderers.

Instead of worrying about someone wearing sunglasses on his forehead in court, I think someone needs to look into why the SPD, the Erie County Sheriff and the Erie County prosecutor didn't do anything about the complaints of loud parties with teen-age girls present going on in the apartment of a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER.

Even better, I think someone should look into why the SPD, the Erie County Sheriff and the Erie County prosecutor didn't do anything about a dangerous EX-CON and REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER brutally raping and choking a 17-year-old girl a week before he murdered Heather Jackson and two babies.
