Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter. SANDUSKY POLICE SUNDAY, JUNE 17 11:55 p.m. - 800 block Hancock St., two men bough bag of chips at drive through, camped out at counter, clerk told them to get lost, one man punched clerk twice in stomach then both men left. For the full daily police blotter from agencies across the area, pick up the Register or check out the e-paper.

the men are probably regulars that go in a chat only the clerks don't stay long enough to know who are regulars and who's not.

Wow, since when does buying a bag of chips mean you buy the store?  You buy what you want and leave.  No matter who is there, unless invited to stay you buy and go. They were asked to leave and stayed.  Nope, they ddn't buy the store with that bag of chips, just the bag of chips.

It's called a drive-thru for a reason. It means you make your purchases then you leave... not a hard concept for some. Who wants to stay around that area anyway!?! Typical loser trash funking up my once safe hometown. Just sad.

They were waiting for a vehicle to enter the tunnel so the clerk would have to leave the store area, at that time they were going to steal anything they could.
