Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter. SANDUSKY POLICE WEDNESDAY, FEB. 8 12:32 a.m. - 1600 block S. Larchmont Drive, mother, 33, argued with her son, 16, about the way he made a sandwich. Previously the boy reportedly told mother when she goes to bed," I'm going to get the cleaver." For the full daily police blotter from agencies across the area, pick up the Register or check out the e-paper.

Why in the world would a mother care about the way a child makes a sandwich???? If it was for you, say "Thank You, and I love you". If it was for himself, what earthly reason would you care how it was made? People never fail to amaze me.

Red Baron

It's pretty stupid how this newspaper selects a ridiculous police blotter and tries to glamorizes it as something important for us readers to view. I see this as just another facet of the media dumbing down their audiences and treating them like complete morons.
Talk about mindless information being injected into the public's mind.

Not enough information to draw any conclusions; besides that, do you think she cares?

maybe he made a expensive dagwood sandwich.

Hold the pickle...............

Does that mean he is going to get Beaver Cleaver ??

Was he overweight and she wants him to cut down?  How old is this "boy"?  What did he want the cleaver for?

Oh, yeah, call the cops...he definelty needs help if he thinks he needs a cleaver to slice a sandwich!
