Jerry L. Davis, July 18, 1947-Jan. 14, 2012

Jerry L. Davis, 64, of Willard, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, in his home.

He was born July 18, 1947, in Delbarton, W.Va., to the late Joe and Nora (Marcum) Davis and came to this area in 1968 from Delbarton.

Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in Vietnam, and was a welder at Sheller-Globe (Mayflower Industries) of Norwalk. He enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing, hunting and playing softball. Jerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anna M. (Bozynski) Davis of Willard; and by his children, Daniel L. and Julie Davis of Willard and Tracie A. and Paul Corbin of Willard; and by his grandchildren, E.J., Elijah, Zek, Eshton, Zachary and Hayden; his brothers and sister, Julius "Duke" and Jan Davis of Clyde, Sandra K. and Mike Peters of Bellevue, and Ricky and Mary Davis of Ragland, W.Va.

Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Davis Jr.

Friends may call on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 12:30 p.m. in Norwalk Baptist Church, 2084 U.S. 20 W., Norwalk. Pastor Joe Schag and Pastor Joel Capizzi will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.
