Joyce Wagner, Jan. 20, 1928-Jan. 8, 2012

Joyce Wagner, 83, of Bellevue, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at her home.

Mrs. Wagner was born Jan. 20, 1928, in Bellevue to Clarence W. and Dora (Hartley) Korndorfer. She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1946 and Flower Hospital Nursing School.

She had worked at Brower General Hospital in Florida as a registered nurse. Joyce was involved in interior decorating, which was her passion and superb talent. She was a member of Tourist Club in Bellevue.

On Sept. 27, 2003, she married Robert Wagner, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Lynn (Andrew) Cohen, Plantation, Fla., and Janet (Jack) Pickerill, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; two grandsons, Jordan Cohen and Travis Cohen; her sister, Dorothy Yingling, Bellevue; and her stepchildren, Robert M. (Wanda) Wagner, Tucson; Diane (John) Hiratsuka, Tucson; Richard (Tammy) Wagner, Clyde, and Gail (Harry) Coe, Clyde.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at St. John's Lutheran Church, with an hour visitation prior to the service. The Rev. Juli Lejman-Guy will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Prairie Road, Bellevue.
